Data collection has begun.

As part of the Town of Monroe’s plan to modernize its assessment operation, data collectors have begun working in the field. As they visit each property, the collectors measure buildings and other improvements and make notes on things like the building’s quality, condition, style, and use. They also photograph the front of each building and any other unique features the property may have. Working in pairs and wearing identification badges, the collectors will knock on doors and interview property owners when those owners are available. If you have any questions, please call the assessor’s office at 782-4459.
